Blackhawks Conference Room

The Blackhawks Conference Room is a 20 x 25 room decorated with Chicago Blackhawks memorabilia to recognize the contributions of the Wirtz Family and the Chicago Blackhawks Charities to the RIC Sports Program and the RIC Center for Health and Fitness. The room features the following amenities: refrigerator, microwave, marker board, slide projector, overhead projector and VCR.

The Blackhawks Conference room hosts the following events:

• Meetings - the room is perfect for small meetings of 10-12 people at the large conference table, it can also accommodate 25-30 people when the room is set up in theatre style seating. The following are some examples of meetings that have used the Blackhawks Conference room: RIC Center for Health and Fitness staff meetings, Committees of the RIC Board of Directors, Kemper Rehab Challenge, support group meetings, team meetings, grant meetings, etc.
• Educational Sessions - once a month the RIC Center for Health and Fitness hosts an educational session in the Blackhawks Conference Room. The sessions are geared to participants in the program and include the following: art therapy, self defense, yoga, travel services, pet therapy, self care, nutrition, etc.
• Training Sessions - training sessions for first aid, CPR, infection control, and seated aerobics also use the Blackhawks Conference Room.
