Basketball
RIC offers three cross-disability wheelchair
basketball programs: RIC Hornets (men's basketball team); RIC Sky(women's
basketball team); and RIC Bulldogs (junior basketball team).
All basketball programs are affiliated with
the National Wheelchair Basketball Association and are played in accordance
with NCAA rules, with a few exceptions that are outlined by the NWBA.
The Hornets, Sky, and Bulldogs all participate
in tournaments and competitions throughout Illinois and the midwest.
